It is something recognized by people all over the world. In Japan there are more than fifty-thousand 24-hour places to shop late or convenience stores. Almost all of these stores are part of a chain. They have a similar structures and a similar appearance. They are on every corner are open all night, without interruption. Sense of time disappears this way. Through the absence of temporal rhythm, there is a form of unreality in the “convenience stores.” In Japan we will now be living in a world in which the sense of time and space increasingly disappears.
