In RL___0, Korinsky look - or rather listen - to the origins of the universe. Based on the phenomenon that sound gets quieter but never completely disappears, their installation speculates on what the past might sound like. Inspired by the controversial research of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center, within which an echo of the Big Bang is said to have been recorded for the first time, Korinsky interpret the fascination for the origin of the universe and the realization that its formation cannot be fully explained until today. Thus, the black fabric above her sculpture lifts slightly for a few seconds at irregular intervals, yet only gives a hint of what may be hidden beneath. No matter how hard we try, we still can't uncover all the secrets - an allure and unbearable tension at the same time.
